Elna Mary David
Mrs. Elna Mary David, 89, of Troy died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy.
Services for Mrs. David will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Wesley Hatcher and Rev. Clifford Matthews officiating.
Burial will be in Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Highway 29 North with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. David was born March 2, 1920 in Josie to the late Johnny and Carrie Brown Henderson.
She is survived by a son, Johnny Locklar of Troy; two grandsons, Barry Locklar of Montgomery and Ronny Locklar of Columbus, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and the Northside Church members and friends.
She is preceded in death by husbands; Dewey Locklar and Charles David; children, Ann Locklar and Billy Locklar; brothers, Reuben Henderson and Brown Henderson; sisters, Myron Turner, Aline Dawkins, Lois Austin, Lucille Jordan and Johnnie Mae Conner.
