Mr. Dennis Greene, 60, of Louisville passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 5th in Ellaville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Louisville.
Rev. Josh Pierce and Dr. Mallone Chandler will officiate.
Special music will be provided by Ronnie Sanders and Sandra Dawson.
Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Greene of Louisville; sons, Jason Greene of Louisville and his friend, Diane Pyle of Louisville and Wesley Greene of Louisville; daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Will Wright of Decatur and Stefanie and Chris Chandler of Grady; sisters and brothers-in-law, Scarlette and David Abercrombie of Louisville and Sherry and Joe Carpenters of Clio; four grandchildren, Mallory Chandler, Nira Wright, Shelby Pyle and Jacalyn Pyle.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffery Dykes, Earl Dykes, Jr, Glenn Helms, Justin Abercrombie, Brian Hegler, Julian Abercrombie and Jerry Greene.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund.
He was a lifelong cattle farmer and grower of peanuts and cotton in Barbour County.
