Mr. Winton Barefoot, 73, a resident of Brundidge passed away, Monday, October 26, 2009 at his daughter’s home in Union Springs.
Visitation for Mr. Barefoot will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 between 10-10:45 a.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home located at 131 S.A. Graham Blvd. in Brundidge.
Graveside services will follow at 11 a .m. in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge with Rev. Ken Baggett officiating.
Mr. Barefoot is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Mike Green of Union Springs; two grandsons, Cody Green of Union Springs and Justin and Laci Green and daughter, Reese Green of Union Springs; five sisters, Mildred Rodgers of Columbus, Georgia, Thelma and James Rodgers of Phenix City, Annette and Bill Mosley of Lake Wales, Florida, Shirley Shipman of Birminghamand Jean Hart of Shalimar, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Captain and Delphia Barefoot; brothers, Ewell, Roy, Emory, Calvin, and Melvin Barefoot and a sister, Jewell Anderson.
Mr. Barefoot was a member of the Brundidge Masonic Lodge #184.
Funeral arrangements and services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home, Bob Thrash funeral director.
