William Amos Davis, age 91 a resident of Troy, died Sunday, October 25, 2009. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Luke Lane officiating. Interment was held in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Yolande H. Davis of Troy; sister: Floyce Griffin of Albany, GA; beloved sister-in-law: Fay Hornsby of Troy and his wonderful nieces and nephews.
