‘Fantastic’ Fall Festival at FBC

The fall is traditionally festival time at First Baptist Church of Troy and this year’s festival promises to be fantastic.

The fun and frolic part of the Fantastic Fall Festival will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 in the parking lot of the Family Life Center.

“The Fantastic Fall Festival is part of First Baptist’s community outreach program,” said Debbie Chance, church secretary. “Everyone is invited and it’s free. The adults always have as much fun as the children. We’ll have all kinds of games and a cakewalk. There will be a hayride and the train will be running. We’ll also have a puppet show. It will be a lot of fun so we invite everyone to join us for the Fantastic Fall Festival.”

In the event of rain, the festival will be moved inside.

Following the Fantastic Fall Festival, from 5 until 7 p.m., First Baptist will host a spaghetti supper in the Activities Building. Plates are $3.50, dine in or take out.

“The spaghetti supper is a fundraiser for our missions program,” Chance said. “The funds will be used for next year’s mission trip. Right now, there is a possibility that we may go to Mexico but that has not been confirmed. Last year’s mission trip was to the Dominican Republic. But we’ll will definitely have a mission trip out of the country.”

Chance said the Fantastic Fall Festival is both fun and a fundraiser and everyone is invited and encouraged to be a part of this fall event.
