Mrs. Geraldine Flowers age 88 formerly of Troy died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Fayetteville, GA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home inTroy with Matt McCord and Reverend Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Miriam and Al Barge of Fayetteville, sons and daughters-in-law Freddy and Anne Howard and Phil and Lisa Howard all of Troy, grandchildren Chelsey Howard, Jennifer (Michael) Brown, Troy (Jill) Howard, Reed (Melanie) Howard, Matt McCord, Mark (Stacey) McCord, and Josh Howard, great grandchildren Austin, Amanda, Anna Grace, Aaron, and Caleb, sisters Sara Nell Crowe and Betty Jean (Dewayne) Day, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Troy Howard, Reed Howard, Matt McCord, Mark McCord, Josh Howard, and Michael Brown.The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer Foundation or the Good Hope Cemetery Fund.
