Mrs. Jacqueline Hay Quarles age 70 of Troy, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her home.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the First United Methodist Church of Troy with Reverend David McVay Officiating Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation will be held Friday one hour prior to the service at the Church.
She is survived by a daughter Susan H. Quarles of Troy, a son William S. Quarles of Troy, sister-in-law Dorothy Quarles Orr and her husband Fritz, niece Sallie Orr Peterkin and her husband Brien of NC, nephew Fritz Orr III of NC, and a cousin Don and Nancy Draper.
She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Quarles Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be The Captain Thomas Carter, Sr. Chapter of the Daughters of American Colonists.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist church of Troy or the American Cancer Society.
