Services for Patricia Ann Kite, age 45, who died Monday, September 7, 2009, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Old Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 183 County Road 2217, Goshen, Alabama, with Rev. Larry Blandofficiating.
Burial will follow at the Old Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Goshen, Alabama, under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009 at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy, Alabama.
Patricia Ann Kite was born the second child of the late James L. Williamson and Dasie M. Williamson on January 4, 1964.
She received Christ under the leadership of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She received her education in the Pike County School System. After graduating from Goshen High School in 1982, she went on to earn a degree in accounting from John M.
Patterson Technical College in Montgomery, Alabama. She worked for the Crenshaw County Health Department as a Home Care Professional for twenty years.
She met and married Jerry DeWayne Kite on October 27, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Williamson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, Jerry Kite; one son, Christopher Darrin Alloway; her mother, Dasie M. Williamson; her sisters and brothers, Tracy Williamson, Lashae Williamson, Vernetta (Alfred) Purvis,
Barbara (John) Geer, Octavia Hendricks, Sonya Croswell, Willie Wages and Charles (Lorretta) Williamson; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Betty Kite; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Angie (Timothy) Foster, Anita (Cedric) Wages,
April (Eric) Bethune, Marvin (Dorothy) Kite, Robert Kite, Jr., and Desmond Kite; two aunts, Lorine (Eli) Folmar and Mae Lou McCloud; two devoted nep h ew s, Patrick Williamson and Twontavius Kite; special friends, Antoinette Blevins and Rosa
Carroll; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and very devoted friends.
