The Money Mania fundraiser is simple is held for five weeks.

“With Money Mania we ask the kids to bring in different coins each week,” Shaver said. “We will do this for five weeks. At the end of Money Mania the classes that have collected the most money will be awarded a prize from the PTO,” Shaver said.

According to Shaver, in the past the prize has been a pizza party and recognition.

Students are asked to bring pennies Aug. 31 through Sept. 4, nickels Sept. 7 through Sept. 11, dimes Sept. 14 through Sept. 18, quarters Sept. 21 through Sept. 25, and dollars Sept. 28 through Oct. 2.

“There is no specific goal set for this fundraiser.”
