Mr. John H. Boyett age 85 of Troy, Alabama died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation center.
Funeral services for Mr. Boyett will be held Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City at 11:00 am with Reverend Jerry Everage officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Ferris Ann and Freddy Daughtry of Troy, and Robin and Mark Goss of Savannah, Ga., sons and daughters-in-law David and Jill Boyett of Morris, OK. John R. and Melissa Boyett of Chapel Hill, TN., sisters Bertha Rose and Shirley Stiles, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn Boyett, granddaughter April Goss, Sister Fannie Scantlin, and brother Edward Boyett.
His Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
