Minnie “Tiny” Knighten Lee, age 80 of Oak Bowery Community died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Minister Larry Brady officiating. Interment will follow in Belser Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Ms. Lee was born November 29, 1928 in Montgomery County. She was the daughter of Ms. Clara “Pink” Deese. She was a long time member of Oak Bowery Church of Christ and was a loving and caring person for everyone.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Sidney Knighten and E.B. Lee, her parents, three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.
Ms. Lee is survived by her children: Jim (Becky) Knighten of Oak Bowery, Sidney (Beverly) Knighten of Tallassee, Joy (Herman) Griffin of Oak Bowery, David (Barbara) Knighten of Grady and Bonnie (Tommy) Stuckey of Goshen; one brother, Red Deese of Hayneville; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
