The Troy Dixie Junior Boys Tournament team wasted no time Tuesday night. After play was pushed back one day because of weather, the Boys from all across the area opened play Tuesday amidst the puddles in the outfield.

Troy scored four runs in the first inning and two in the second inning on Greenville’s 13 year olds in the second game of the opening night of the tournament.

Chandler Avant shut Greenville down through four innings and Troy led 6-0 at press time.
