Paul Edwin King, 69, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at his home in Troy. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m.
Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the Elba First Baptist Church with Rev. Kris Mullis officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetary under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Mr. King was the son of the late Robert Auburn and Vonnie Chandler King.
Survivors include his wife Janet King, of Troy; three daughters, Susan (Blair) Smith, of Birmingham; Catherine (Todd) Watson, of Evergreen; Amy (John) Hall, of McDonough, Ga.; one son, Robert King, of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Chandler Smith and Clarkson Smith, of Birmingham; Todd Watson, Jr. and Anna Watson, of Evergreen; Brother, Orell (Andrea) King, of Crestwod, Ky.; three sisters, Helen (James) Kemp, of Montgomery; Bobbie Sue (Marion T.) Stevens, of Emerson, Ariz.; and Patsy (Wilson) Hanchey, of Augusta, Ga.
Hayes Funeral Home of Elba is serving the King family.
