Services for Margaret Henderson, 86, of Troy who died June 09, 2009 at Troy Regional Medical Center will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. L.C. McMillian officiating.
Burial will be in Carroll Street Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.
Mrs. Henderson was born January 21, 1923 in Troy.
God held his hand and said come my child it is time for your eternal reward in the late night hours of June 9.
At an early age Mrs. Henderson joined Bethel Baptist Church Family until her health started failing but she remained a faithful member in heart and mind. She was a devoted member of the choir and was honored to be a part of the missionary society for several years. She was one of triplets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Evelyn Henderson; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her sister, Julia Henderson of New Brunswick, NJ; a long time and dear friend, Raymond Shears of Troy; special niece, Margene Henderson of Detroit, MI; two close nephews, Rev. Johnny Henderson and Deacon Willie Edward and his wife, Betty Henderson of Troy; great niece who loved her dearly, Mrs. Annie Doris Youngblood and her husband Jerome of Troy and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Floral bearers will be friends of the family.
