James Rayford Edgar, Age 66 of Ariton, Died Thursday, June 12, 2009 at his home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Bundidge with Dr Malone Chandler and Dr. Frank Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Rocky Head Community. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 5-7 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Survivors include; Wife of 43 Years, Sue Edgar of Ariton, 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law, Keith and Shanna Edgar of Huntsville, Kris and Linda Edgar of Ariton, Kevin and Belinda Edgar of Ozark, 2 grandchildren, Justin Edgar and Mary Grace Edgar. Sister and Brother-in-law, Maxine and Frank Jacobs. Nephews, Greg Jacobs of Boca Raton, Fl., and Brad(Rebecca ) Jacobs of North Carolina. Mr. Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Bernice Edgar.Serving as Pallbearers will be Greg Jacobs, Kyle Jacobs, Jerry Reynolds, Joey Strother, James Senn, Benny Herring. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alvin Johnson, Leon Turvin, RA Goodson, George Wilson, Joe Foster, Wallace Mobley, King Isaac, Andrew Hall. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice.
