Mrs. Doris Beasley Adams, age 82, of Troy, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Burney Enzor and Rev. Wes Hatcher officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Arthur Ferguson of Troy, two sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Mary Jo Adams of Prattville and Mark K. Adams of Troy; Grandchildren, Holly and Thad Benton, Kelly Adams and Casey and Holly Adams; great-grandchild, Gracie Benton; sister, Bonnie Beasley Flowers of Dothan; brother, Donald and Nell Beasley of Troy, sister-in-law, Ann Beasley, several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her husband, LaBean Adams, son, Thomas L. “Sonny” Adams and brother, Murray L. Beasley.
Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church.
