Services for Mary N. Stewart, 77, of Birmingham, formerly of Brundidge, who died April 11, 2009 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham was at 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge with Rev. E.L. Mullen officiating.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 12 at the funeral home.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, William Braxton (Jack) Stewart; parents, Chloe and Homer Nicholson and a brother, Clarence Nicholson.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth and Laura Stewart; three daughters, Ann and Don Morris, Margaret and Mike Riddle and Elaine and Joel Driver; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Alice and Robert Hudley; brother, Harley and Ganelle Nicholson and a number of other relatives.
