Virginia Smyth Reeves, age 94, a resident of Troy, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 13, at 4 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Spikes, Rev. W.O. Sanders, and Tommy Strother officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband Judge Ben Reeves.
She is survived by Mrs. F. Woodson Smyth of Dothan; Drew Smyth of Dothan, Mrs. Judy Harris of Dothan, Mrs. Dawson Loflin of Henderson, Mary Reeves Daniels of Wetumpka, Betty Ann Reeves Close of Alexandria, La.; Judy Kelly Lowry of Montgomery; Rachel Newman of Troy; Mrs. Eleanor Foreman of Lake Martin; Mrs. Fleta Richard of Greenville.
