Imogene McCollough

Mrs. Imogene McCollough went to her heavenly home Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dock McCollough. Rev. and Mrs. McCollough lived in Brundidge for 42 years before moving to Ariton in 1990.
During this time, Mr. and Mrs. McCollough served the Lord while he was the pastor in churches in surrounding counties during the 42 years they lived in Brundidge.
Mr. McCollough worked at Brundidge Mercantile.
Visitation was Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Ariton Baptist Church.
Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. with Revs. Kenneth Earles and David Walch officiating.
Burial was in Ariton Cemetery under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Survivors include two daughters, Erma and Charles L. Friese of Montgomery and Lurlean and Freddie Sutton of Ariton; grandchildren, Michael and Eileen Senn of Montgomery, Jennifer Senn and Matt Middleton of McKinney, Texas; Terri Sutton and Kent Phillips of Ariton and Neal and Julie Sutton of Ariton; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jeremy Senn, Madison Parker and Abby Middleton, Angela Sutton, Andy and Sarah Phillips, Brandi and Nicholas Sutton; brother, Delma and Barbara Head of Centreville, Ga.; sisters, Edna and Hoyt Bragg of Columbus, Ga.; and Mildred Jordan of Panama City, Fla.; brothers-in-law, Junior McCollough of Enterprise, Eugene McCollough of Montgomery and Billy and Grace McCollough of Victoria and sister-in-law, Mary McCollough.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Walter A. Sutton; brothers, Theron Kyle, Mildred and harold Head; sister, Bernice and their spouses.
The family thanks each person that touched their lives and the friends they made over the years that mean so much to them and us.
