Mary Edwards McLendon
Mary Edwards McLendon, age 66, died at her home on Saturday, March 21, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with Dr. Ben Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2009 from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mrs. McLendon is survived by her children: Jaye and Eric Robinson, Sheri and Randall Barr, Michael and Meredith McLendon and Traci and Michael Rushing, all of Troy; six grandchildren: Chase and Anna Robinson, Cody and Brady Barr, Jackson McLendon and Michael Rushing Jr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Harrelson of Auburn, Ala. and a brother, Hamil Edwards of Troy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl McLendon of Troy; parents Homer and Mittie Edwards of Phenix City, Ala.; and brothers James and Herman Edwards, also of Phenix City.
