Services for Mildred Ann Whittington Macey, 63, of Enterprise who died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Medical Center-Enterprise will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Forman officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Green Hills Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge.
Mrs. Macey, the daughter of Leon Burson and Mildred Catrina Powell Whittington, grew up in Brundidge. She traveled the world 30 years as a devoted Army wife.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Whittington and a sister, Eva Nell Steed.
Survivors include her husband, Col. (Retired) Richard Lloyd Macey of Enterprise; two daughters, Susan Dell of Newnan, Ga. and Lea Court of Cape Cod, Mass.; grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew, Rebekah, Micah, Sarah Dell, Audrie, Adrian and (on the way) Aurora Court and sisters, Jimmie Sue Merck and Martha Kay Helm; and nephews Johnny Steed, Ashlon Smith, SSGT US MC Todd Smith, and Christian Helm
