MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Troy swept all three games at Middle Tennessee this week.

The Trojans grabbed win three of the series sweep on Tuesday, 7-1.

Ashlyn Williams took the mound to start the game.

Williams got the win, and Allison Moore came in during the fifth inning to get the save.

The save is the first of the season for any Trojan.

Middle Tennessee got off to a 1-0 lead in the first, but it would be all Trojans all the way for the rest of the game.

Troy posted two runs in the second, two in the third, one in the fourth and two more runs in the fifth.

Troy hosts Louisiana-Monroe Saturday and Sunday in another conference series.

Game times are 1 p.m. for a doubleheader Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
