Annie Roselyn Head McLendon
Annie Roselyn Head McLendon, born on Oct. 22, 1930 and a life-long resident of Troy, died at the Troy Regional Medical Center on Feb. 14, 2009.
Graveside services will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Tarentum, Ala. on Feb. 28, 2009 at 11 a.m.
Dr. Luke Lane, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Troy, will be officiating the service.
 She is survived by her son, Thomas W. Head, Esq. (Kathleen) of Birmingham, Ala., as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family is extremely grateful for the devoted care over the years provided by a very special niece, Gail Ellis Flynn (Randy) of Hoover, Ala. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Thomas Head and Annie Lou Galloway of Troy, Alabama, and her husband, Joe McLendon.
Ann’s brothers and sisters, who all preceded her in death, were:  Harold Henry Head (Birmingham, Ala.), Frances Head Ellis (Summerville, Ga.), Robert Hillis Head (Aurora, Colo.), Davis Head (Dothan, Ala.), Mavis Head Barnes (Thomasville, Ala.), and Joseph Murray Head, Major USMC Retired (California).  In lieu of flowers, a donation to any animal shelter or to PETA would be appreciated.
