Annie M. Jinright, 83, of Troy, AL died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 at Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 26,2009 at 2 p.m. at Bush Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Derrah officiating.
Mrs. Jinright will lie in state from 1:30-2 p.m. at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 5-8 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.
Mrs. Jinright was born Oct. 10, 1925 in Coffee County, Ala., to Ezra and Lila Elizabeth Pitts Bassett.
Mrs. Jinright retired as a seamstress in the clothing manufacturing industry. She was preceded in death by here husband Howard Jinright Sr., parents, Ezra and Lila Elizabeth Pitts Bassett, brother W.D. Bassett; three sisters Myrtice Lambert, Lorene Williamson and Clara Davis. Mrs. Jinright is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Howard, Jr. and Bennie Jinright, Troy; daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Steve Rawlins, Chelsea, Ala.; grandson and wife: Brad and Elyse Rawlins, Columbiana, Ala.; sister: Ruby Giddens, Troy; sister-in-law Willie Bassett of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a loving mother, MeMe and mother-in-law. She will be missed dearly by all.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Witherington, James Lucas, Billy Jinright, Norman Rape, Dwight Ward and Dennis Adams.
