Donnie Gene Carlisle, age 73, a resident of Troy, Ala. died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Reverend W.O. Sanders and the Reverend David Zorn officiating.
Interment will follow in the Elam Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Carlisle is survived by his wife Pat Carlisle of Troy, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Johnny Teal of Troy, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Tanya Carlisle of New London, Mo.; step-children, Dale and Geri Hamilton of Wisconsin, Randy and Debbie Hamilton of Selma, Ted and Jennifer Hamilton of Dothan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sybil and Bobby Beard of Brundidge, Annie Beaulah Beasley of Montgomery and Mary Virginia and Leon Flowers of Troy; brother and sister-in-law, Curry and Lucy Carlisle of Wetumpka, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
