Erma Lois Jones Mills, 98, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, in Luverne. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Campground United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ken Jackson, Cliff Cobb and Ronnie Floyd officiating.
Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mills taught school in Crenshaw County for five years.
Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mills, and her parents, Frank and Alice Jones.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue Rhodes of Goshen; grandchildren, Susan (Jim) Tranum of Luverne, Cindy (Ken) Jackson of Luverne, Stevie (Leisha) Carr of Luverne, Sandra Carr of Montgomery; stepgrandchildren, Kevin Rhodes, Lee Rhodes, and Jerry Rhodes, all of Stills Crossroads; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Mitchell (Verbie) Jones of Luverne,
Serving as Pallbearers will be Leon Jones, Butch Mills, Drew Tranum, Stevie Carr, Jim Tranu, and Keith Mills.
