Mrs. Geraldine Williford “Jerry” Jones age 79 of Troy died Monday, February 09, 2009 in Troy.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Reverend Michael Alsup officiating.
Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Also one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Wendy Jones of Greenville, Wade and Nancy Jones of Dothan, grandchildren Haley, Collin and Preston Jones, Jennifer Jones and Brittany Williams, sisters and brothers-in-law June Rose of Troy, Mary Duncan and Phil Hall of Grenada, Ms., Montney and Spencer Burkett of Troy, brother and sister-in-law Sonny and Betsey Williford of Troy, aunt and uncle Lex and Ruth Griffin, cousin Betty Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Jones and her parents Fox Louis “Son” and Alma Griffin Williford.
Active pallbearers will be Fox Williford, Duncan Lindsey, Kenneth Carter, Preston Jones, Chuck Kenwright, Thomas Walker, Phil Hall and Mike Rose.
Honorary pallbearers will be Spencer Burkett, Jimmy Lawrence, Dave O’Neal, Richard Williford.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Troy.
