Funeral services for Alma R. Williams will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 17157 State Hwy. 94, Grady, with Pastor John Jackson officiating and George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 6, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.
Burial will follow the funeral service at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Grady.
Mrs. Alma R. Williams was born the first child of Otha B. Bradberry (deceased) and Katie Mae Hollinghead on Sept. 23, 1955.
She attended Montgomery County High School.
She later attended Riley College School of Nursing.
She met and married Walter Williams (deceased) and to this union six children were born.
She worked for the Pike County Board of Education for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otha B. Bradberry, and her husband, Walter Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Lesile Williams, Bessie Williams, Walter Williams,
Tyrone D. Williams, Willie J. Williams, and Stacey M. Williams; her mother, Katie M. Hollinghead; one son-in-law, Tramane Williams; two daughters-in-law, Sabrina Williams and Jackie Williams; her grandchildren, Marquise Williams, Brandon, Williams, Quintario Williams, Ja kera Rogers, Alisha Willi ams, Amira Williams, JaQuerris Warren, Joshuwa Jackson, Taniyah Green, and Shaniyah Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
