The Pike County Lady Bulldogs made a run in the second half, but it was too little, too late, as they fell 57-33 to Headland in the first round of the AHSAA Class 3A, Area 4 tournament Thursday in Abbeville.

“We just got out hustled and out played tonight,” PCHS head coach Kasey Parker said. “We just couldn’t get anything going tonight.”

The loss ends the Lady Bulldogs (4-15) season.
