Mr. Robert Jefferson Lee age 80 of Troy died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. He is survived by his children Joyce and Carson Pomeroy of Eufaula, Marshall Lee of Helena, Russell and Judy Lee of Eufaula, Jeff and Sandy Lee of Eufaula, and Karen and Joe Watson of Troy, his sister-in-law Lou Ellen Lee, grandchildren Lee (Mike) Jennings, Allie Lee, Nick Bavaro, Tres Watson, Bryan Lee, Tanner Lee, and Houston Lee, great grandchild Jake Jennings.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Earley Lee, parents, Fitz Hugh and Lizzie Lee, his brothers Dorsey, Roy and Elmer Lee and a sister Annie Jean Lee.
Active Pallbearers will be Nick Bavaro, Mike Jennings, Tres Watson, Bryan Lee, Tanner Lee, and Houston Lee.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Haley Grant, Harry Anderson, Johnny Mitchell, Joe Stephens, Joe Watson Sr., Quincy Carter, Windley Wade Tatom, Jimmy Hagan, Charlie King White, Tommy Floyd and the members of the 933 Field Battalion, on active duty in January of 1951.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
