Charles Edgar Anderson age 83 of Troy died Friday at his home Friday January 30, 2009.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 2:30 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston, SC. with J. Henry Stuhr’s, West Ashley location Directing.
Visitation will be held at that location from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife Hazel W. Anderson of Troy, son and daughter-in-law Charles (Donna) Anderson Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA, daughter-in-law Donna Anderson of Loganville, Ga., grandchildren Brook (Dan) Bryant, Blake Anderson, Zackary Anderson and Taylor Anderson, great grandchild Anniston Bryant, brother and sister-in-law Richard E. and Wanda Anderson of Ohio, sister Doris Poole of Ohio, stepchildren Julius and Rita Walters of Troy and step grandchildren Haley and Trey Walters of Troy
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Ola Anderson, his first wife Martha Anderson, son Duane Anderson, brothers Bill and Harold Anderson of Ohio, and sisters Eleanor Watts and Ruth Claypool both of Ohio.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
