Winfield Leroy Woodruff, 90, was reunited with his loving wife of 64 years, Alice Gulotta Woodruff, on January 23, 2009.
He was a native of Metairie, Louisiana and a resident of Brundidge since Hurricane Katrina.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Winfield Charles Woodruff and his parents, Winfield G. Woodruff and Catheine V. Woodruff.
He is survived by his son Salvador Woodruff and wife Ann Calloway of Galveston, Texas; daughter, Alice Woodruff Fowlkes and husband Robert Fowlkes of Brundidge and a daughter-in-law, Florence Woodruff of Waveland,Mississippi.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Barbara Smith, Joann Smith and Winfield Woodruff of Harahan, Louisiana, Alette and Andy Hatfield and Andre’ Paez and fiancé, Amber Reynolds of Brundidge, Phaedra and Roger Cortez of Little Elm, Texas and Alicia Woodruff Cox of Lacombe, Louisiana and nine great-grandchildren.
He will also be greatly missed by Amanda Smith and the staff of Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Louisiana.
Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge will be directing.
