Mrs. Mary Frances “Frankie” Parker age 85 of Troy died Friday, January 23, 2009 at her home.
Memorial services will be held Friday, January 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Luke Lane officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
She is survived by a son Ron Parker of Jacksonville, Ala., a daughter and son-in-law June and Bruce Duncan of Tallahassee, Fla., Granddaughter Carlee Parker of Birmingham, Grandson and his wife Adam and Jessica Duncan of Tallahassee, great granddaughter Reese Duncan of Tallahassee, unofficial adopted son Joe (Candy) McClendon of Montgomery and their daughter Julia McClendon, brother-in-law Pete Parker of Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen D. Parker.
Mom’s life has been filled with the love for Jesus, her family, he friends and her neighbors. She loved to laugh and bring joy to those around her. We know however her greatest joy has now been found in Heaven. We will miss her.
The builders Sunday school class at the First Baptist Church in Troy will serve as honorary pallbearers.
