Mr. Charles Ned Johnson age 68 of Goshen died Friday, January 23, 2009 in Dawson, Ga.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Mathew Almeida officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
He is survived by his children Angelia Jane Burrow (Craig) Ragsdale of Dallas, Texas., Jennifer Johnson (Mathew) Almedia of Dawson, Ga., Jacob Johnson of Dawson, Ga., Ralph Patrick (Brittany) Johnson of Washington State, and Walter Andrew Johnson of Abilene, Texas., sisters Madolin Johnson Skinner and Nadine Johnson Johnson both of Goshen, grandchildren Zackary Almeida, Veronik, Jake and John Johnson, Lance, Miranda, Teddy Pamela and Dustin Ragsdale, and Christopher Burrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Dalton Johnson and Olgie Schofield Johnson McVay, sisters Eloise Johnson Inman and Joyce Johnson Drinkard, and a brother Josh Dalton Johnson.
Active pallbearers will be Jacob Johnson, Anthony Almeida, Craig Ragsdale, Christopher Burrow, Carter Sanders and Larry Snyder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Johnson and Andrew Johnson.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Association.
