Trojans get Private

The Troy Trojans will have to find a way to stop T.J. Worley and Kyndall Dykes if they want to grab a home conference victory tonight against the University of New Orleans.

“Worley and Dykes are two of the top scorers in the league and we will have to play great defense as a team to shut them down,” Troy head coach Don Maestri said. “We just hope they don’t have big nights as well. Dykes is one of the hardest competitors. He is a hard-nosed aggressor and he leads by example.”

The Trojans (9-10, 4-3 Sun Belt) and the Privateers (8-10, 3-4) tip off at 7 p.m. from Trojan Arena and Maestri said this is just another conference battle for the Trojans.

“We don’t have any superstars on this team, so we are going to need great efforts from 7 or eight guys to get the win Thursday,” he said.
