Eagles dropped

The Goshen Eagles and Lady Eagles traveled to Brantley Tuesday, but both teams came back with snapped winning streaks.

The Lady Eagles lost 49-24.

“We were only down 21-20 at halftime, but Brantley pulled away in the third,” coach Lindsey Hornbuckle said. “But I was proud of how our girls did not give up and fought in the fourth quarter.”

Diamond Cottrell led the team with seven points..

The Eagles lost 82-73, but head coach Jonathan Deveridge was proud of his guys.

“We were down 71-46 heading into the fourth and only lost by nine,” Deveridge said. “That was a great effort.”

Justin Senn led Goshen with 26 points. Antwan Boswell had 15. Reginald Foster had 15 points and 11 boards and Tyrese Wingard had 13 points.
