“Willie James McBryde, after stating he would kill Whitney Youngblood, fired several shots from an unknown type of firearm through an apartment door,” the court record reads.

Youngblood had been standing on the other side of the door just before the shots rang out, but she moved prior to the incident.

Everage said the victim was not injured in the incident.

Everage said Youngblood signed a warrant for McBryde’s arrest, and officers knew of the outstanding warrant when they noticed him on North Three Notch Street Wednesday.

He was taken to the Troy City Jail, before he was later transferred to the Pike County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000.
