Mrs. Joyce Sheppard Barbaree, Age 79, of Banks died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with Reverend Averyt Walker and Reverend John Harden officiating. Burial will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge directing. There will be a one hour lie in state at the church prior to the funeral. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 from 4:30 until 6 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Survivors include; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Ginger Barbaree of Banks and Mike and Stephania Barbaree of Banks; grandchildren, Nic Barbaree, Jeremy Barbaree, Josh (Amber) Barbaree, Gena Barbaree, Chris Barbaree, Katie Barbaree, a great-grandchild, Annabell Barbaree.
Serving as pallbearers will be , Chris Barbaree, Jeremy Barbaree, Josh Barbaree, Nic Barbaree, Butch Austin, Terry Long and Steve Thrash.
