Bulldogs lose on the road Tuesday

The Pike County Bulldogs dropped a close battle with Andalusia Tuesday night, 55-53.

The Bulldogs committed 22 turnovers at were 1-for-6 from the free throw line in the loss.

Baseball officials association meeting

The South Central Baseball Officials Association will hold its first meeting, Jan. 6, at 5:30 p.m. at Park Memorial United Methodist Church. Anyone interested in officiating high school baseball this spring is urged to attend. Experience is not necessary. For more information, contact Terry Jinright at 566-1533 or 372-2842.

Troy Parks and Rec adult sports

The Troy Parks and Recreation Department adult dodgeball and flag football leagues are registering now.

A men’s league for everyone 16 years old and up is available in dodgeball. and a men’s league as well as a coed league for everyone 16 years old and up is available in flag football

The registration fee is $100 per team for both leagues and registration will run through Dec. 20.
