Where to buy tickets is always a hot button topic for fans.

For those wondering where to purchase Troy Trojan bowl tickets, look no further than the university. Troy media relations director Ricky Hazel said it is vitally important to the university that fans buy tickets from the university.

“The important part of buying tickets through Troy is that is how Troy pays for the trip,” Hazel said. “That is how we pay for the hotel and how we pay for all the other expenses.”

It is simple math to the Troy University people.

“When you see these payout amounts for bowl games a large portion of that is tickets and you collect the money if you sell the tickets,” Hazel said. “If you don’t sell the tickets, you don’t get the money and that is the reason it is so crucial for people to buy the tickets from us.”

Hazel said fans can swing by the ticket office any time after Saturday at Troy University. The ticket office will be open from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday and from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. all next week.

Ticket information should be available shortly after the game on troytrojans.com.

“We will get that information out there to the people as quickly as possible so people can start purchasing them,” Hazel said. “We will move as quickly as possible because the turnaround from Saturday’s game to the New Orleans Bowl is two weeks.
