Geraldine L. Pouncey, 69, of Troy, died Friday, Oct. 24 at the Medical Center Enterprise.
Memorial and graveside services was held Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Hopewell Cemetery in Henderson with the Rev. Otis Derrah officiating. Burial followied at Hopewell Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Pouncey was born Dec. 16, 1938 in Cook County Illinois. Her parents were Thomas I. Mahoney and Lucille Dowling Mahoney.
She retired from a career in : data entry in the manufacturing industry.
Ms Pouncey was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas I. and Lucille Dowling Mahoney, sister Caroline Mahoney and brother, Denny Mahoney.

Barker (Laurie) Barker, Calera, Alabama; David Matthew Beatty, Lakewood, Ohio; Cody Chance, Troy; Alexandra Chance, Dacula, Georgia; Jordan Welniak and Taylor Welniak, both of Lutz, Florida; Shelby Carr and Zac Carr, both of Dothan; 3 great grandchildren: Ally Thompson and McKenzie Thompson, both of Starkville, Mississippi; Hannah Reese Barker, Calera; and a little Barker on the way; 2 brother and wife: Thomas and Nadya Mahoney, Sun City, California; Robert Mahoney, Florida; and several loving nieces and nephews.
