TPD investigating shots fired at car

Troy Police are investigating an alleged shooting that occurred in the McDonald’s parking lot Sunday morning.

Around midnight Sunday, Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage said an occupied vehicle was fired at in the parking lot.

The victim reported a black male driving a burgundy Chevrolet fired a gun and hit his vehicle, as the suspect was leaving the restaurant.

He told police he knew who fired the gun.

An unknown black subject was allegedly present with the suspect at the time of the incident.

There were no injuries, but police confiscated shell casings near where the incident occurred.
