A Troy man was arrested last week after 19 gallons of moonshine were found on his property.

Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas said around 11 a.m. last Thursday, a search warrant was served at Lot 5 of Southland Trailer Park in Troy, and when deputies arrived, they located 19-gallons of moonshine and several other items associated with it in the owner’s storage shed.

On Friday, Thomas said Jamie Vongail Thomas, 30, was taken into custody at the Pike County Jail on charges of possession of moonshine. The suspect was released on bond later that day.
