Mary Sue Steed, a resident of Brundidge, Alabama passed away September 26, 2008, at Kingwood Hospital, Kingwood, Texas. She was born January 27, 1933 in Banks, Alabama to Clem David and Bessie Wood Tatom. Sue is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Vernon Steed, a daughter, Melissa Sue Mackros and husband Karl Mackros, one grandson Alec Mackros. One sister Edith Ann Powell and husband John Powell of Atlanta, AG., one brother Sherroll Tatom and wife Irene Ashworth Tatom of Brundidge, Al.
Sue taught for 33 years in the Pike County school system. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
