Mrs. Vonnie L. Armstrong, of 26 Shelley Jackson Road, Clio, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Armstrong was 83-years-old.
Visitation for Mrs. Armstrong was on Sunday, August 31, 2008 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home located at 131 S.A. Graham Blvd., Brundidge, Alabama. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Richland Baptist Church with the Rev. Julian Shaw officiating and internment was at Shady Grove Cemetery on Alabama Highway 125, Brundidge.
Mrs. Armstrong is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Myrtle and Max Shaw of Clio; two granddaughters and husbands, Lynn and Shawn Logan of Ozark and Ann and Paul Holloway of Clio; four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Katie and Justin Holloway and Paige Logan; a sister-in-law, Nell Davis of Brundidge.
Services were under the direction of Thrash-Keakey Funeral Home of Brundidge. Pallbearers were Bobby Davis, Frank Davis, J.D. Doster, Don Holloway, Pete Henley and Reginald Shaw.
