Douglas Botts, age 72,

of Brundidge, died Thursday, July 31, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Reverend Kenneth Andrews officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Survivors include, Wife, Rue Lindsey Botts of Brundidge; Daughter, Rita Botts (Mike) Fowler of Killeen, TX; Son, Greg Botts (Lisa) of Clanton; Brother, Sam Botts, Jr. of Troy; Sister, Ann Botts Ray (Jimmy) of Troy; Mother-in-law, Elsie Lindsey of Brundidge; Sister-in-law, Betty Coppage of Brundidge; 6 Grandchildren Lindsey Morgan, Charlie Douglas Adams, Katie Botts Petty (Bryan), Samuel Douglas Botts, Ashlie Fowler and Mikey Fowler3 Great-Grandchildren, Steven Morgan, Brandon Morgan and Will Petty.

Mr. Botts was preceded in death by his parents Sammie and Effie Botts and sister Sybil Green.
