Forrest Bryant

Funeral services for Forrest Bryant will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Banks, Alabama, with Rev. Dr. L. C. McMillian officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2008 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at the Church yard Cemetery, Banks, Alabama.

Forrest Bryant was born to the late Fred and Pinkie Lee Bryant on January 28, 1939 in Pike County, Alabama .

At an early age, Forrest confessed his love for Christ at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Banks, Alabama.

Forrest was a man that loved his family and friends and spending time with them.

On April 27, 2008, while under the care of Faith and Grace Hospice, Montgomery, he made his transition to be with the Lord while at home with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and caring wife of forty-eight years, Catherine; four children, Mary Francis (Larry) Pollard, Troy, AL, Brenda Bryant, Montgomery, AL, Willie “Jake” and Robert Bryant, both of Troy, AL; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda (Samuel) Lewis, Troy, AL; three brothers, James Bryant, Detroit, MI, Leroy Bryant, Troy, AL, and Willie (Diane) Hampton, Cleveland, OH; two aunts, Cora Burny, Newark, NJ, and Tommie Jean Parnell, Troy, AL; seven sister-in-laws, Emma Williams, Helen Lewis, Hattie Arnold, Annie Siler, Wannie Ward, and Betty Townsend, all of Troy, AL, and Ruby Doris Bryant, Detroit, MI; four brother- in- laws, Charles Williams, Troy, AL, Freddie Lewis, Detroit, MI, O.T. Thomas, and Eddie “Pete” Ward, both of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
