Mr. Gary Blackmon, age 65, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away, Monday, September 17, 2007.

He is survived by daughters and sons in law; Michelle and Tony Staples of Jonesboro, GA, Elizabeth and James Smith of Jonesboro, GA; son and daughter in law, David and Cookie Blackmon of Hogansville, GA; brother, Luther Blackmon; sister, Janet Blackmon both of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Rayne Staples, Marcus Blackmon and Billy Blackmon.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, September 20, 2007, at 11 AM E.S.T. in the chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home.

Dr. Trenton Swanson will officiate.

Interment in the family cemetery in Banks, AL at 5 PM C.S.T. on Thursday.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
