Willie Frank Rodgers

Mr. Willie Frank Rodgers was born the third child of Willie Oscar Rodgers (deceased) and Junie Murphy Brascomb (deceased) on April 9, 1948.

He accepted Christ at an early age. He met and married Lois Elaine Lampley. To this union, one child was born. Later, he met and married Geraldine Capps (deceased).

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Bob Rodgers and James Otis Rodgers, and his parents, Willie Oscar Rodgers and Junie Murphy Brascomb.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories:

nine sisters and brothers, Addie Ree (Theodis) Gray, Louisville, AL, Gene Albert (Felicia) Rodgers, Lilburn, Georgia, Mary Lee (Eddie) Williams, Geneva Rodgers and Betty Lois Griswell, all of Brundidge, Alabama,

Ruby Kate Rodgers, Patricia Ann Rodgers, Virginia Rodgers and Jeremiah Rodgers, all of Banks, Alabama; one son, Willie Charles Rodgers; two grandchildren, Willie Charles Rodgers, Jr. and Antionette Rodgers, both of Detroit, Michigan; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Robert Felix Stinson

On August 24, 2007, Robert Felix Stinson quietly and peacefully entered into eternal rest, freed from many years of suffering. He died in Troy at Troy Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27th

at 11:00 A. M. at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Troy, Alabama. Interment will following the church cemetery with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

Reverends Ray Stinson, Les Lee, and W. O. Sanders will conduct the services with special music by The Wilkerson Family, Reverend Les Lee and Bobby Lee.

Visitation will be at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark on Sunday evening, August 26th from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Myrtis Stinson and a brother, Alvin Stinson.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Opal Cotten Stinson of Troy, a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Les Lee, and two grandsons, Bobby and Daniel Lee, all of Dothan, Alabama, a brother and is wife, James E. and Linda Stinson of Tuskegee, Alabama, and a sister and her husband, Carolyn and Keith Meeks of Dallas, Texas, a sister-in-law, Jerrie Stinson of New Hope, Alabama.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Lee, Daniel Lee, Chris Childree, Vijay Nagpal, Curt Stinson, Jason Bowden, Christopher Burbank, and Paul Bowden.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Anderson, Paul Farmer, and Bobby Hattaway.
