Minnie Ola &uot;Sis&uot; Wambles
Minnie Ola &uot;Sis&uot; Wambles, 87, of Jack, departed this life Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at her home in Jack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Jack Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Ray Stinson and the Rev. Andy Marler officiating. Burial will follow in the Jack Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Jack. Visitation will be at her home 2426 County Road 208 Jack, AL on Thursday, July 19, 2007, after 3 p.m. until one hour prior to services at Jack Assembly of God.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, son Charles Wambles (Earlene) of Wilsonville; son Buddy Wambles (Jane) of Jack; daughter Loumerle Norton (Bobby) of Phenix City; daughter Annette Parker (Ray) of Jack; daughter Mae Rainey (Ronnie) of Troy; daughter Judy Weber (Partner-Alan Dorosh) of Huntsville; daughter Joyce Sanders (O’Neal) of Jack; daughter Henrietta Allen (Terry) of Jack; son-in-law Tommy Grissett of Troy; sister Nell Whitehead of Columbus, Ga.; brother Dick Owens (Chris) of Birmingham; brother Jimmy Owens (Johnnie) of Jack; sister-in-law Bulah Owens of Jack; sister-in-law Geneva Owens of Columbus, Ga.; sister-in-law Merlene Owens of Elba; sister-in-law Mary Seavy of Jack; sister-in-law Inez Wambles of Jack; sister-in-law Daisy Bell Wambles of Bellwood; sister-in-law Jean Givens of Mobile; grandson Phil Wambles (Gwen) of Birmingham; grandson Scotty Wambles (Tammy) of Dallas, Texas; grandson Randy Wambles of Troy; grandson Rusty Norton (LaDania) of Phenix City; grandson Danny Parker (Ann) of Opelika; grandson Donny Parker (Stacy) of Jack; grandson Dean Rainey (Amanda) of Troy; grandson Gary Grissett (Cheryl) of Jack; grandson Pat Sanders (Tabatha) of Jack; grandson Chris Sanders (Amy) of Troy; grandson Shayne Allen (Amanda) of Jack; grandson Ryan Weber of Wausau, Wisc.; grandson Matt Weber of Jack; granddaughter Cricket Feitsma (Dr. David) of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; granddaughter Leiah Allen (Rodney) of Jack; granddaughter April Morgan (Jonathan) of Jack; granddaughter Kelly Yaden (Chuckie) of Jack; granddaughter Shannon Allen of Jack; granddaughter Dana Winters (Chris) of Jack; and 39 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wambles was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wambles; parents, Percy and Ethel Owens; brothers Bufford, Dock, Donald, Hubert and Billy Paul Owens; a granddaughter, Lisa Kay Norton; a son-in-law, Kirk Weber; and two great-grandchildren, Karlyn and Olivia Sanders.
Hayes Funeral Home of Elba is serving the Wambles family.
